With the client’s requirements in mind we thought of coming up with a website on the Wordpress platform. Wordpress being one of the most popular and user friendly content management software would make the website easy to manage. The website is developed using a Wordpress CMS, and MySQL database.
The client wanted a simple website that would showcase the objectives of the Gujarati Mandal community to the entire world, and also act as a platform for easy sharing of information. The facility to donate funds online to the community, easy reporting system, and handy website page creation and management was an important requirement of the client.
The website can be used as a platform for donating money to the community. To enable this feature we have integrated the website with PayPal. This allows anyone having a PayPal account to make online transactions.
The events section highlights the upcoming events that the community is organizing. Being a Wordpress based website the administrators of the website can easily update this section with the information about upcoming events in and around the area and also remove the past events.
